This week the guys are joined by Civil Rights and Criminal Defense lawyer Jason Downs. Jason grew up in Baltimore, attended University of Baltimore Undergrad and Maryland law, and cut his teeth in the DC Federal Public Defender Service. He’s now in private practice and handles mostly civil rights and police brutality cases. Jason is an excellent advocate and has a boots-on-ground take for all matters in the Civil Rights arena. Today the guys are sampling One Eight Distilling’s District Made Bourbon. On the agenda:
- All about Jason, his work, experience, and war stories
- The unavoidable topic: Trump’s twitter hissy-fit about Baltimore: Is it racist? Is it rat infested? Is trump going to get mushed next time he comes to Baltimore?
- New name for our segment, “It’s not just Baltimore” (in light of Trump’s tweets): Alabama Sheriff lines his own pockets with slush fund money but forgets to pay his taxes.
